A few people are reporting issues with image stabilization on the Panasonic G80/81/85. These are early days but it appears that the G85 does not move smoothly when panning on a tripod and then same stickiness happens when panning handheld. See the following video for a demonstration. Let us give Panasonic a chance to address this via firmware but if they do not this will be very disappointing and will result in us recommending a do not buy on the G85.

Sony FS7 Mark II Coming Soon
We have received several reports of the impending and soon to be announced Sony FS7 Mark II. One source, WHO WE HAVE NOT CONFIRMED NOR RELIED UPON BEFORE, is claiming a price of $9,999 for the body only. Time will tell soon enough.
Two New Panasonic DMC-G85 Videos
This is a lot of camera for the money although some may have trouble deciding between this and Sony’s forthcoming A6500 camera (which is more expensive).
On the Panasonic AG-UX90
We are looking forward to several of Pansonic’s 1-inch video cameras and we are finding their price and features preferable to Sony’s offering for our purposes.
A Few Panasonic GX85 Videos
The G85 is superior to the GX85, including in size and price. We recommend spending the few hundred dollars more to get the G85 (unlimited recording time is nice), but if small is your priority then the GX85 wins out.
Two New Sony A6500 First Impression Videos
The A6500 is everything the A6300 should have been. We already sold our A6300. Rolling shutter and crop in 30P remain.
