The Sony A6300 has 3840x2160P XAVC Video at 100Mbps at 30, 25, or 24 FPS. It features a 24 megapixel sensor, faster autofocus, and a swath of other features.
Importantly: “…the camera uses full pixel readout without pixel binning to collect 20 megapixels of information – approximately 2.4×5 (6K equivalent) as many pixels as 4K UHD and then oversamples the information to produce high quality footage with exceptional detail and depth.”
What we are really interested in now is how much dynamic range this camera has in video mode and if there are any image artifacts or issues. But we have to hand it to Sony, they’re actually making interesting products.
