Canon Release New XA30 and XA35 Video Cameras but No 4K

It’s true not every one needs 4K, but even for those delivering in 1080P downscaled 4K looks much better.  This will probably be Canon’s last round of non-4K XA cameras.

Both cameras feature a 1/2.84″ CMOS sensor, 60P, and 20X zoom lens.  The sensor is supposed to be better tweaked and show some improvements.

  • I really wonder why canon hasn’t really started to make 4k cameras yet. They released an HFG40 just recently and that’s still 1080p… i mean they have the XC10 but that thing is ridiculously priced.
